Sets the background color (or clear color) of the application in hexadecimal format. Default background color is white (0xffffff).

application:setBackgroundColor(color)

Parameters

color: (number) background color in hexadecimal format

Examples

Simple hexadecimal color

application:setBackgroundColor(0x000099) -- hex format

Since Gideros 2022.3 you can use vector to pass a color

application:setBackgroundColor(vector(0.1, 0.5, 1, 1)) -- r, g, b, a
